Designed for large-scale film and television production, the Aputure STORM XT52 is a single-source, color-temperature-adjustable LED light, delivering a high output of 5200W of white light with temperatures ranging from 2500K to 10,000K .
This device features a high-resolution BLAIR chip, advanced connectivity options, and a rugged IP65 dust and water-resistant body that withstands tough shooting environments.
It comes with an electronic stand compatible with Aputure's advanced electronic accessories, allowing for automated control and improved performance.
This version of the XT52 includes an open-ended cable and two Flight Cases.
Slice and color accuracy
In addition to a 5200W light output comparable to 6000W HMI lights, the XT52 features a BLAIR (Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, and Red) chip that ensures exceptional color reproduction accuracy within a tunable CCT range of 2500K to 10,000K .
The device offers light quality indicators: CRI and TLCI greater than 96 , and SSI of 86 (daylight) and 87 (tungsten) .
It also supports 100% ±G green-magenta color correction according to the ASC MITC standard, allowing for seamless integration into mixed lighting environments .
Light output reaches 103,500 lux at 3 meters (9.8 feet) using the included 35° reflector.
Extended accessory holder
Aputure's innovative XT52 electronic mount is designed to hold heavy accessories, including a motorized CF14 or CF16 Fresnel lens , and provides stability, durability, and optimal color quality, plus supports automatic focus control .
The included reflector (35°) can be replaced with optional reflectors at 20° or 50° angles as required.
Flexible energy options
The XT52 can be powered by home electrical circuits depending on your location, but requires a minimum of 180V to operate at full power.
The current version includes a cable with open ends to customize the appropriate plug type.
It also includes a 7.5m head cable , and supports daisy chaining for a total length of approximately 45m .

Flicker-free performance
The XT52 supports CIE daylight and blackbody standards, and uses a HyperDrive LED converter to ensure flicker-free performance at all color grading levels above 20% of output.
